The famous highly contested uMlazi Derby between, uMlazi Young Lions FC and Durban Pioneers FC ended all-even in a 2–2 draw this past weekend.
Neither team was able to claim the high stakes and bragging rights of a Derby win at the SJ Stadium.
The team from the other side of the township, uMlazi Young Lions, had come out on top in the last two encounters between the two teams, both games finishing at 2–1.
After the first half ended with the teams levelled at 1–1, no team could find a way to get an edge at the second stanza as well as the match finally ended all-squared, both teams having to settle for a share in spoils.
